I never asked but I heard you cast your lot along with the poor. But then I overheard your prayer, that you be this and nothing more than just some grateful faithful woman's favourite singing millionaire, the patron Saint of envy and the grocer of despair, working for the Yankee Dollar.

on blogging

As a complete new comer to this, I've been looking through some of the profiles of the other idle and self obsessed people out there. What's strange is that a lot of people (most it seems) have an average of less than 10 posts in their blogs. This throws into question some of the impressive statistics one reads about the popularity of blogging. On the other hand I realise there are countless others completely obsessed with their exercise in futility.

As you might have guessed this is a slow day at a work and I've been fiddling around with this thing for awhile now. I assume most people just start this process and don't really think about it or pretend not to but I vow not to follow that example. For me this being a new experience it's exciting (can you spot my timid deviations from the template?) and frightening at the same time. I seem to offend people at times, unaware that I'm doing it, so this can only make things worse. Of course the problem is solved by the fact that only a bunch of lunatics and artemis are reading this.

But for now here is a picture that no one can get offended by:
